Currently at Marrakech airport (11.05.19). You can ask the people at starbucks to fill up water bottles. They use filtered water which is perfectly safe to drink – they make the ice with it. I bought a coffee as well so as not to be cheeky (I did want one anyhow).

I would like to inform that at Starbucks they are still happy to provide you with water, they even asked me if I wanted with Ice or without.

I’m currently flying out of Marrakesh airport. I’ve been looking for a water fountain in the usual spots, but so far have not found one. I’m reluctant to ask in the shops as I’m not certain if tap water is safe to drink.

Thank you Martina, I agree there are some places in the world that tap water is not safe to drink better to be safe than sorry.

I also managed to fill my water bottle up at Starbucks. They were happy to fill it up without me buying anything.
