There is a water fountain by the toilets next to the entrance to gates A12-A19.

There is a water fountain located outside the entrance to the ladies toilets upstairs in the food court (airside departures terminal).

In July 2021, the free drinking water fountain is located in the Food Court one level up from the main departure concourse, next to the entry to the ladies’ toilets.

There was also a water fountain with tap available before passport check to the right of the women’s toilets when going to gates B and C.

No water fountain at gate B19. Couldn’t find gate B19 but there is definitely a water fountain at B1.

They have installed a new one front of the corridor of A01-03. Also there’s a toilet block next to it and most Schengen passenger will pass by it going to their A04+ gates.

There is a water fountain with hot, cold and room temp water in between gate B14 and the toilets by it ( just before gates B14-B29 ) in Terminal 2b.

As of August 2024. Saw these whilst walking toward gates.

Food court upstairs, outside ladies toilets
At start of passage toward gate A1-A25, to the right.
Basically just look outside of any toilets in the gates area.

All of them are drinking fountains with bottle spouts

This airport has an impressive amount of fountains compared to many other ones.

At Budapest Airport it is easy to find. Stand with your back to the Costa outlet. The fountain is right in front of you.

Couldn’t find a water fountain but cafe at departure gates happy to fill up our water bottles even though we didn’t make a purchase. 😁

thanks david. we checked it out this afternoon and found it – just keep walking to the end of the A section. a lovely fountain that saved us a good few euros and plastic waste.
