We do have fountains, you can easily found it at the terminal ground floor, close to the pizzeria, at the terminal 1st floor, close to the bar at gate 10 and close to the bar at gate 6

FYI once you’ve gone through customs to the international-destination gates there are no water fountains – You have to buy…above mentioned gates are the domestic ones. Total idiocy. At least the toilets are free I guess?…….. Wish I would’ve read this before going through as you can’t go back now.

I couldn’t find a fountain “near the pizzeria” as another poster suggested so I asked at the pizzeria counter and was told quite clearly “there are no water fountains at this airport”. However, the bar staff will fill one bottle for you if you ask. It is not fair of Bologna airport to make customers and staff jump through hoops like this. Water should be freely and easily available.
