There is now an additional water fountain/tap by the ground floor toilets next to Superdrug.
At Bristol airport the staff at any food/drink outlet are required to fill a bottle with water if you ask (even if you don’t buy anything from there.) I was told this by the staff at security and it’s always been successful.

Bristol airport has five water fountains in the terminal building, located as follows:
1. Adjacent to Superdrug in the Departure Lounge
2. On entrance to Gates 7-16
3. Arrivals walkway adjacent to the toilets
4. Arrivals bridge prior to Immigration
5. Baggage Reclaim

You can use the tap in the Starbucks as well. Or the staff will fill bottles for you
There is one water fountain available, on the walkway leading to gates 9-16.
Best airport yet. They even have a proper sink to tip out unused water/squash etc. at entrance to security area, as well as the various options for refilling on air side. They have obviously thought the whole experience through properly.
