Free water fountain is located near gate 8 at the back of the City Hill Cafe. It’s cold only, but was more room temperature than super chilled.

Verified today that tap is still operating behind City Hill Cafe near Gate 8. It’s on the wall facing the windows overlooking the tarmac.

There is a water fountain near gate 8 domestic terminal.

It’s easy to miss, look for a stainless steel fixture built into the wall.

Canberra Airport does have water stations on the departures level for passengers wanting to refill their water bottles.

This is not true? I have searched the domestic Qantas and virgin terminal areas and found no drinking fountain. No information of drinking fountains on the airport website. Plenty of water bottle vending machines
