No water at all. You can only buy water for 1.7 (Dolce Agata), 2 (vending machines) and 2.5 (other shops).

This is not true anymore… There is some Space for Free near gate 1 where they do have a water dispenser but they didnt allow me to use it. Also, when asked they said there is no potable anywhere in The airport,in general it was not really possible to communicate with them since noone spoke English or seemed to Care at all… so not really elpful:(

Unfortunately, this is not the case…

I have just tried… It isn’t possible to refill a bottle at Catania airport, they have even installed in the restrooms a type of tap that makes it impossible…

I’ve been impressed with the number of airports providing water fountains recently but am currently at Catania Airport in Sicily and there’s no provision here. Come on, Sicily, get with it!

20 years ago most airports were like this.

Water is now 1.9Euro for a small bottle. The cafe refused to fill our bottles – “non potable”. Presumably the airport has a special water supply, separate from the rest of Sicily, that is not drinkable.

Gates 1 to 4 were blocked so couldn’t verify the tap near gate 1.

There is a water dispenser by gate 1 in the assistance area
