The only drinking water station I found is located by the toilets near the gate A20. There is no water station by A7.

I’m currently at FRA on a long layover and I’ve walked thru almost all of terminals A and B. There are plenty of fountains and a few bottle fillers in A, particularly near gate A7 and about once every few gates in the two really long corridors. I haven’t found any in B. I haven’t checked other terminals.
The fountain near A20 works. The number on the counter is over 433000 🙂
#plasticfree @Airport_FRAYou can fill up your bottle going to the gate D27. On the right is open lounge area and on the left behind the column you will find it.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRAFound a drinking water station outside WC near E4 in terminal 2.
#plasticfree @Airport_FRAExcellent drinking fountain 👍 Helped to avoid over 211600 plastic bottles

Not as many as described in earlier years but I found a drinking fountain at gate A 30
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRAFound on on the second floor above B gates (escalator from stairs to B50-59 gates) – as you go up go straight – toilets are on the right. It is a water fountain, not a bottle filling station. I could not find next to b34 (gate does not exist and largest toilets on the main concourse are being refurbished)
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRAFrankfurt Airport T1 B area.
I just asked 3 airport workers around B of terminal 1, all 3 said No water fountains in B, you must go to A (back through immigration so no!)
They are selling plastic bottle of water half liter for 9.90euro here in B. Frankfurt airport rip off.
Very disappointing

Water fountain in the right hand side between gates A18 and A20. Easily visibly and also made to fill bottles.
Another one on the right hand side between gates A28 and A30. Not meant for bottles though.
More throughout the terminal A gates.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRAFound one at B44, next to the lady’s bathroom.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRATerminal B, across Starbucks between men’s and woman’s toilet.
#plasticfree @Airport_FRAThere’s a fountain across A64 gate near the toilet

#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @Airport_FRADrinking fountains by the restrooms across from Z54 and Z64

Free drinking water is available at a total of 30 drinking fountains in Terminals 1 and 2. In addition, conveniently located “bottle filling stations” are being installed where you can very easily fill empty bottles.
There are also free warm water dispensers in case you need warm water to make tea or prepare baby food. -
