I was able to use the water fountains at Geneva Airport today.
They are located between gates A8 and A5, right next to the toilets and underneath an art instillation with wheels and cogs.
I can confirm that the two water fountains are active at Geneva airport. Keep walking past gate A7 following the signs to A5 and you will see them on the wall in front, slightly to the right.
In July 2018, water fountains will be installed and functional.
2 water fountains will be located after the security check, near the gate A8 (next to the toilets).

As an update, there are still two water fountains located near Gate A8.
#plasticfree @GeneveAeroportWater fountains worked well today. Just past gate A8 next to the children’s play area. It would be more environmentally friendly if the location was advertised more widely by the airport in my opinion.
We could not agree more, a few airports are starting to advertise the fact they have bottle filling systems in departures, some even have sinks before security to empty bottles but they are rare, I often ask the airport if they have signs before security, maybe if we all contact them they will do something.
