There is a water fountain also at C gates. The fountains are located between the ladies and gentleman’s washrooms.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @DohaAirportThe water fountains outside the toilets are currently covered over due to COVID, but there are at least two free water refill stations at the entrance to the “Day2Day” shops. One is located in the food/duty free area near the giant teddy bear statue on level 1, right next to Victoria Secret. The other Day2Day shop is at the far end of the concourse on the same level, behind the Oreo bar.
#plasticfree @DohaAirportI asked some security guards at a time when there weren’t many people around (3 am local time). They pointed me to the “Special Handling Lounge” by gate D2 where there was a water cooler. I don’t know if this strategy will work in the future, but the man at the desk was very kind & let me fill my bottle. Good luck!
#plasticfree @DohaAirportThere are at least 2 water fountains. Both next to the toilets that are located near the “glowing tree” sculpture (same level) and food court. Just find the tree, cross the fake grass and your home!
The fountain closer to the “Burger federation” has better water pressure.

There are drinking fountains in some of the toilets but not all. The toilets signed with both sexes lead through a door to a short corridor with a fountain- while the toilets signed directly for women/men don’t have fountains inside.
beware that some gates have extra security where you can’t take water through so filling a bottle for the flight is a waste of time!
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @DohaAirportDoha airport- huge & modern except re water! Fountains are all out of use, covered by plastic (saving them for the FIFA World Cup?!) Tap water is not drinkable, so no water refill provision in C or D zones. Walk or take the free train to A & B and the red & black Day2Day convenience stores have water refill stations.

Unfortunately they have covered them all up with covid as the excuse. But I believe the tap water out of bathroom sinks would be fine.
