We have recently introduced drinking #water fountains at #Larnaka & #Pafos airports , available & accessible 24/7 to all our #passengers💧👍🏻!

The Water Fountains are located after security control in the gates area. Travellers may now use them to refill their #reusable water bottles 😀.

The water fountain is next to the toilets between gates 44 and 45. Most airport staff deny all knowledge of it.

We used this. Was Brill as we’d recently found the one downstairs but having one next to the furthest toilets was ace. Saved us 6 people buying water and polluting the planet even more.

Larnaca airport staff says the fountains have been closed off since covid. I trust that the contactless refill station will not give me covid! Open them up, some of us dont want your plastic bottle!

October 2021 all water fountains have a sign for NOT IN USE. The staff says due to covid. This is literally a contactless refill station. Stop using covid to sell plastic bottles this is unacceptable in 2021!!

The drinking water fountain at Larnaka is not working. Greed prevails again.

We have been informed by the airport that “The water fountains are temporarily out of service due to the Covid-19 measures implemented at our airports.”

Why are we forced to buy overpriced water.

Plenty of major airports have water fountains for travelers too fill their own water bottles
It is scandalous that due to “security” concerns we cannot bring our own water, then forcing us to pay for overpriced bottled water is compounding the issue.

Dear Ms Panayi,

we appreciate you informing us that what a fairly standard service, like clean water, is not available at your Airport.

Do I take it we also have to bring our own flashlights in the future? That will also save the airport some money.

Please pass on my regards to the HERMES management company and kindly suggest they pay a bit more interest to Corporate Social Responsibility.

absolute disgrace that Larnaka airport provides NO water fountains for the public, yet will sell you a bottle of Evian for €2.95
