A blatant lie. The sole drinking fountain in the Qantas domestic terminal airside only dribbles, making it impossible to full a water bottle. A staff member told me that the water flow was turned down at the request of the retailers so passengers were forced to buy water.

We do currently have drinking fountains across all of our terminals.

There is a drinking fountain in the downstairs departure lounge near the rest rooms.
