All the sinks in the toilets here are marked “drinking water” with the “plastic free” logo. Very handy!
#plasticfree @toscanaeroportiThe taps in the loos near the gates are the type with combination soap dispenser and hand dryer. However, only the water worked, so there was no risk of soap contamination. (You might want to bring hand sanitizer). More importantly, sinks were marked as drinking water. It was Free, and we feel fine. Our trip was last week and we did not become ill then or in the interim.
Additionally, there are machines selling water as you queue for the gates. There were no price labels. The machine takes cards, but you can’t tell what the price of the water will be until you put your card in, so I can’t provide information on the current price, merely the fact that the option exists right before you board. There was a coffee bar right at the gate too, and I’m sure he sold water as well.
This broadly confirms what others have said previously remains the case in July 2024.
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @toscanaeroportiWater from the vending machines is 1E 60. The taps in the loos are the type with soap and drier. However there is a single tap in the disabled facility, just past the hand luggage check in the left. 19/08/2023
#plasticfree #BeatPlasticPollution @toscanaeroportiYou can fill your bottle at any tap in Pisa Airport
#plasticfree @toscanaeroportiThere are no water fountains at Pisa airport. In the toilets there is no separate cold water tap. Vending machines sell small bottles for 1.5 Euro
